What is named patient access?
Named patient access (also called compassionate use, or VND in Colombia) allows a physician to request a medicine that is not yet registered or commercially available in their country, for a specific patient, under their medical supervision and responsibility. It is legal in most Latin American countries and is the main pathway Vital Link Pharma uses.
Who can register as an institution?
Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, government health agencies, and distributors can register. Access to quotes and ordering opens once your registration and operating licence are approved, typically within 24–48 hours.
Do I need a prescription as an individual patient?
Yes. A valid prescription from your treating physician is required to start a Named Patient Programme request.
Is pricing public on the website?
No. Prices are shared directly with registered institutions through a quote, and are not displayed publicly for either institutions or patients.
